Ercan Selvi is the current mayor of the town of Tatlarin in the Acıgöl district of Nevşehir. He began his public service career by undertaking administrative duties within the Nevşehir Directorate of Village Services and served as a director in this institution. Stepping into political life under the roof of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Selvi turned to local administrations to serve his town.He was first elected as the Mayor of Tatlarin from the MHP in the March 31, 2019 local elections, taking office. He gained appreciation in the region thanks to his administrative performance in his first term and the strong bonds he established with the townspeople. Throughout his term of office, he prioritized local projects aimed at infrastructure works and the landscaping of the town.
Following a successful first term, he was nominated again by his party in the March 31, 2024 local elections. In these elections, receiving massive support from the people of Tatlarin, he renewed his mandate and was elected mayor for a second time. Attaching importance to his family life, Selvi is married and has children. Today, he actively continues his mayoral duty for the development and prosperity of the Town of Tatlarin.
